As the main hub of Central Florida, Orlando has grown tremendously over the past several decades. Its consistent growth has made Orlando one of the most desired and diverse metropolitan areas in the United States.

As most people know, tourism is the backbone of Orlando. In 1971, Walt Disney World opened and helped spark the area’s attraction and was later joined by additional theme parks, such as Universal Studios, SeaWorld, Legoland, and more. The Orlando area boasts seven of the ten most visited theme parks in North America, in addition to the four most visited water parks. This attraction-centric focus has also spurred the region’s convention industry, which has enabled the expansion of the Orange County Convention Center, now the second largest convention complex in the country.
