There is also a skate park located right on the BeltLine. Zoo Atlanta located in Grant Park is also a great place to visit, with a wide variety of animals and much to see. Sports

The Atlanta sports scene is a big deal to most residents, home to five professional sports teams including the Atlanta Braves, The Atlanta Falcons, The Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta United FC, and Atlanta Dream. The Atlanta Braves step up to bat at Truist Park, in 2021, they won their fourth World Series Championship which was a huge deal for the city. At Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the Atlanta Falcons play their home games along with Atlanta United FC. College football is also a big part of the southern state, Atlanta hosts the SEC Championship every December and the annual college football Peach Bowl.

Art & History

During the Civil War, Atlanta became a home front and an important regional transportation and distribution center. The city is filled with historical sites and museums. The Atlanta History Center is dedicated to preserving Atlanta’s old history. It’s 33-Acres of historic archives and homes give people a peek of Atlanta’s past. The High Museum of Art holds more than 15,000 original art pieces from European paintings to African American art showcasing many different cultural aspects. You can also visit Centennial Olympic Park located downtown which is where the 1996 Summer Olympics were held.
