Since the completion of One Loudon last year, we had heard nothing but good things, so we decided to try it out for the evening. We started our night out at the new Redskins restaurant and bar "Hail and Hog," since we are huge Redskins fans.
We sat at the rooftop bar area and ordered drinks and their Chesapeake Bay Pretzels, which were phenomenal! Hail and Hog's atmosphere was awesome and I can only imagine how fun it would be to be there during a Redskins game.
We then made our way directly across the street to the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema to see 'The Girl on the Train'. The movie theater was awesome - we picked our seats when we bought the tickets and they even had full service in the theater for beverages and food. We split a pizza and each had an adult milkshake, which was pretty life changing in my opinion.
Our last stop of the night was World of Beer, which was just down the street from the Alamo Drafthouse. The bar was filled with people in their mid-20's to late 30's and had a great atmosphere to it. There was plenty of room, so you didn't feel cramped, and the live band was spot on with their song selection.
We finished the night with an Uber ride back to Chantilly which was about a 20 minute drive, however it would've been much nicer to be able to walk right across the street to where the new condos at One Loudoun are being built - and where residents enjoy the luxury of having all this, and more, at their fingertips!
