A Day at Embrey Mill

Hi there, my name is Megan! I'm the Sales Manager for Stanley Martin Homes in Embrey Mill. I've been selling in Stafford, Virginia for over two years and specifically in Embrey Mill for a year and a half.

Embrey Mill is a fantastic community of new single family homes for individuals and families of all stages of life. In the D.C. area, there's a lot of "go go go" mentality, but at Embrey Mill that fades away. The entire neighborhood is centered around community and spending time together.

Want to go on a walk and unwind after work? There's over ten miles of wooded trails or a dog park to take your four-legged family member to. Kids need to get out of the house? Take them to one of the four parks and playgrounds within walking distance. The soccer field always has a game going!

My personal favorite perk of Embrey Mill is the Grounds Bistro & Cafe. A short walk from your front door will lead you to an adorable restaurant & cafe overlooking the pool. You can sit down and have a relaxing brunch or call in and pick up for a delicious, easy family meal! My go-to is the Harvest Cobb Salad with Chicken. It's tasty and filling. You also can't go wrong with one of their ice coffees. The service is friendly and quick. They also host live music nights, where you can order a beer and mingle with your neighbors.

No summer is complete without an outdoor movie, in my opinion. Embrey Mill plays family-friendly movies at the outdoor amphitheater. This past showing was Life of Pets-a personal fave of mine. Plus, there's this amazing pool for swimming in the summer time - what more could you ask for?

For individuals and families that like to stay social and have friends down the street, Embrey Mill is perfect. Whether you're new in town and want to quickly find your place or live in the area already, there's no better way to live an active, connected lifestyle than in this amazing community.
