The Perfect Floorplan for Your Post-Turkey Nap

The holidays are coming and we've decked the halls-and more-at our brand-new model home, the Travers, at Sudley Farm in Centreville. With Thanksgiving just around the corner, as you stroll through each room in this stunning home, you can almost hear the laughter of your family and friends as they anticipate your turkey dinner (as well as the requisite snoring during the post-turkey nap).

kitchen The open-architecture style of this home welcomes your guests like a big hug. If your celebration is large, there is plenty of room for everyone, while also feeling cozy and inviting. It's easy to imagine preparing your Thanksgiving feast in the kitchen while chatting with friends sitting at the large island, glancing over at the raucous game of spoons going on at the breakfast table, and hearing the cheers (or groans) coming from the family room as your guests support their favorite football team.

There's even room for a kids' table if you need a special place for the little cherubs to enjoy their turkey and pumpkin pie.

Perhaps they'll cozy-up with a good book in your library at the front of the house or head to the morning room off the kitchen area for a little snooze. The large sectional sofa in the family room begs your yawning guests to curl up with a blanket. The flex room on the other side of the family room is another favorite spot to chill out, especially if you've chosen the first-floor guest room option.

The space is large, but furniture arranged in intimate settings invites your guests to mingle and interact with ease.

The bed looks so inviting, but you decide to relax with a good book on your plush sofa in your adjoined sitting room while your significant other heads to your attached bath for a long soak in the tub. As you sink into the sectional sofa, you feel thankful as you look forward to spending a lazy day tomorrow with your overnight guests in your beautiful new home.
