Responsibilities and Duties:

Recruit for all vacancies within the company utilizing various resources as needed
Post positions and source resumes for all vacancies within the company
Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and suggest qualified candidates to hiring managers
Manage full-cycle recruitment, including interviewing candidates, and processing offers of employment
Maintain recruiting report to track all recruiting activity
Ensure current position descriptions and update as needed
Coordinate the accurate completion of Requisition forms
Coordinate onboarding, including conducting first-day orientations
Implement Human Resources policies, programs and procedures
Collect and analyze Human Resources data, and make recommendations to management
Initiate background checks and pre-employment drug screening

Area Service Manager 

Northern Virginia Neighborhoods

The Area Service Manager is responsible for conducting Quality Care inspections on all Stanley Martin homes. The purpose of the Quality Walk inspection is to ensure each house is built to company quality standards before presentation to the Stanley Martin homebuyer. The Area Service Manager is also responsible for overseeing the warranty process for Warranty reps by neighborhood and rep assigned.

Responsibilities and Duties:

All houses will be inspected on the designated Quality Walk date submitted by the Neighborhood Construction Manager and approved by the Director of Field Operations.
Inspections will be postponed due to readiness issues. Any house deemed not ready to inspect on the designated date will be scored Failed inspection, house not ready and immediately reported to the assigned DFO and the Vice President of Production. All such houses will be rescheduled to a later Quality Walk date.
Each home will be impartially inspected and scored to the standards prescribed to the ASM by the VP of Operations.
The same evaluation standards will be employed on each house.
Upon completion of each inspection, every inspection report will be reviewed with the appropriate NCM and promptly turned in to the main office.
During the course of each Quality Walk inspection, the ASM will create a punchlist of items that must be 100% complete before the house can be presented to the purchaser at a first orientation. The ASM will use the Quality Walk Punchlist form for recording such adjustments. The ASM will be responsible for overseeing the follow-up inspection process from the list generated at the Quality Walk.
The ASM will cross reference each QW punchlist with the New Home Adjustment List for repeat items. All repeat items will be reported to the assigned DFO, the Vice President of Production, and the VP of Operations for review with the Neighborhood Construction Manager
Supervise service reps for area
Conduct 60 day/9 month inspections as assigned
Track and report monthly trend analysis of trades by neighborhood and repeat items found at Quality Walk. Track and report monthly scores.
Track and report monthly neighborhood analysis.

Purchasing Assistant

The Purchasing Assistant is responsible for working in conjunction with the Division Purchasing Manager in managing subcontractor relations for bids/invoicing and custom built options. The Purchasing Assistant will review with Neighborhood Sales Managers requests for custom pricing. The information is then send to bid to Neighborhood Trade Partners. The Purchasing Assistant scrubs this information and consolidates this into a CBO, or Cost Breakdown Template. The information is further reviewed by the Division Purchasing Manager prior to review by the General Sales Manager and subsequently before data being entered into X2 by the Neighborhood Coordinator. The Purchasing Assistant is responsible for researching and entering all Variance Purchase Order requests into X2. This may involve interaction with the Trade Partners, Neighborhood Construction Managers, and Directors of Construction and field visits to verify takeoff issues. The Purchasing Assistant takes all VPOs to an approved status in X2. The Division Purchasing Manager then completes the VPOs after they verify the validity of the request and documenting areas to be reviewed or recontracted due to errors or omissions.

The Assistant Neighborhood Construction Manager (ANCM) is responsible for assisting the Neighborhood Construction Manager (NCM) in supervising the home building process. Generally the responsibilities of the ANCM are assigned at the drywall stage and continue through completion.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist the NCM in managing subcontractor duties including scheduling, installation and quality control
Responsible for completion of punch lists
Installation of all house worksheet standard feature(s), option(s) and various product(s) selections based on the Product Book specifications
Ensure trade installations conform to SMH contract and scopes of work
Ensure homes are built to published schedules and within established budgets
Acting SMC representative to local jurisdictions, trade contacts and purchasers
Ensures each house is 100% complete for Area Service Manager Quality Walk Various administrative duties such as, ordering building material and reviewing selections with trades
Complete all other duties as assigned by manager
Adhere to company safety standards and help promote a safe working environment for office and field warranty employees, subcontractors and homeowners
Adhere to and promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Stanley Martin
