Check circuit breakers before calling for service; check that the
appliance is plugged in.
Make sure anti-tip devices are properly connected after moving a range
for cleaning.
Never turn on an empty microwave or put metal in a microwave.
Be sure to read your appliance manuals regarding cleaning and care.
If your icemaker is not working, check to make sure that the water
source is turned on and that the arm is turned down.
Clean the range hood filter, dryer filter, and all other filters as
recommended in the manual.
If clothes are not drying properly, check the dryer hose and exterior
wall cap for lint build up and proper ventilation.
If the dishwasher is not cleaning properly, make sure that the water
flow is not obstructed and the dishes have been loaded properly. Keep the
door closed at least one hour after the cycle is complete.
