A standard, IRC 2009 code-compliant new home is awarded a HERS
rating of 80, so a home with a rating of 70 is 10% more efficient
than a standard new home.
Stanley Martin homes are designed to receive a 65 HERS Index®
Rating. The lower your home’s rating, the higher your
efficiency—meaning LOWER ENERGY COSTS!
