Sales Assistant--Part-Time


We currently have an opportunity for a Home Sales Assistant for our Southern Maryland communities. The Sales Assistant represents Stanley Martin Companies and is responsible for supporting the sales office or model home, as well as providing information to prospective homebuyers.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Greet customers in a professional manner
  • Provide customer service to all prospective home-buyers about Stanley Martin homes and communities
  • Coordinate opening and closing of sales office as needed
  • Assist the Neighborhood Sales Manager with collection and documentation of pertinent homebuyer information and characteristics
  • Complete all other duties as assigned by manager
  • Adhere to company safety standards and help promote a safe working environment for office and field warranty employees, subcontractors and homeowners.

Position Requirements:
  • High School diploma

Receptionist


We currently have an opportunity for a Receptionist in our Reston VA location. The Receptionist is responsible for the operations at the front desk, as well as providing administrative support to corporate staff as needed.


Position details:

  • Answer and direct incoming calls accurately and professionally
  • Greet and direct visitors, forwarding inquiries to appropriate personnel
  • Open, sort, stamp, and distribute incoming US mail
  • Respond to general administrative inquiries, including conference room reservation requests
  • Arrange for same day courier services
  • Maintain package, check, employee, and courier logs
  • Maintain supply of shipping forms and supplies
  • Code house utility bills
  • Occasionally move packages weighing up to 30 pounds
  • Maintain stock of office supplies
  • Maintain supply of kitchen, cleaning, and first-aid items
  • Assist Office Coordinator with maintaining office equipment and associated records, to include making updates to service contracts and placing service requests as needed
  • Assist Office Coordinator with coding of cellular phone invoices, Home Depot/Lowe’s invoices, and shipping accounts
  • Complete new employee set up requests
  • Take a leadership role in coordinating document retention program and storage requirement
  • Maintain an orderly and professional front desk appearance
  • Prepare office in the evening for the next day's operations
  • Complete all other duties as assigned by the Office Coordinator
  • Adhere to company safety standards and help promote a safe working environment for office and field warranty employees, subcontractors and homeowners.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years of solid administrative experience including multiple phone line receptionist experience

  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Time and Task management Skills

Home Sales Manager


We have openings for Home Sales Managers for our new home communities.


Position Details:

  • Manage on-site sales and provide product and house information to prospective home buyers
  • Maintain contact with the purchaser from contract signing through to settlement
  • Manage and create sales technique for developing new leads
  • Administration of sales contracts and reporting of home sales, lot status and inventory
  • Maintenance of model home and marketing material for home buyers (brochures, price lists, etc.)
  • Ensure property listings in the MRIS, New Homes Guide and other list publications
  • Maintain Community Data Notebook of project including services, facilities, and products
  • Coordinate and attend pre-construction meeting, pre-drywall walk, and pre-closing orientation
  • Represent the company professionally in all interactions with customers and home buyers

Requirements
  • Management candidates MUST have at least 3 years experience in new home sales
  • Building experience preferred but not required
  • College degree or commensurate experience required
